Covid Action Plan

In these uncertain and frightening times, Surrey Air understands your anxiety about letting people into your homes and businesses, even for necessary services such as heating and cooling. In order to ease this anxiety, we would like to reassure our customers that we are doing everything possible to prioritise your safety and the safety of our staff.

While servicing mechanical and electric equipment we will try to minimise any entry to indoor premises, and communicate with the customer internally to assist us by turning on and off controls for us. This allows us to clean, service and test equipment so it is running at optimum performance, without coming into contact with clients or entering their homes.
If for any reason the technician does need to come inside, they will follow the process below:

• The technician will knock on the Client’s door and retreat 1.5 metres.
  When the Client answers the door, they will be asked the following questions:
  -> Have you or anyone in the residence been overseas in the last 14 days or been in contact with anyone who has been overseas in the past 14 days?
  -> Have you or anyone in the residence been in close contact with anyone that has a confirmed case of Coronavirus?
  ->Are you or anyone in the residence unwell in any way?
• Once the technician has determined they are not at risk to perform the service, they will enter the property to begin and complete the work as quickly and thoroughly as possible.
  Please note that masks and gloves are not a requirement at this stage. Social Distancing is the primary preventative action. However, if you would feel more comfortable with the Technician wearing a mask and/or gloves, please let us know and we will deliver this request.
